As for a more detailed content, this training course, or rather coaching in small groups to prepare for the PMP (Project Management Professional) and CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification exams from the PMI (Project Management Institute), is specially designed for students ready for a rewarding and demanding adventure, with the determination to go all the way and maximize their path to certification, straight to the point, without frills, without compromising on quality.

To apply for PMP certification, you need to present projects in one or more fields (events, marketing and sales, industry, IT, processes and management control, setting up new businesses or companies, etc.) that you have personally managed for at least 36 months. There are no extra-ordinary prerequisites for CAPM certification.

To minimize or cancel the impact on students' professional activity, this training takes place outside normal working hours, requires no travel time, and thus maximizes the efficiency of the time available. During their chosen times of learning and from 4 (minimum) up to 11 (maximum) two-hours live (Zoom) coaching sessions with the lead trainer, students :

• prepare in advance with course materials and a Moodle learning path available online,
• learn interactively (and intelligently) from a PMP-certified teacher, who is well versed in recent exam developments
• train to obtain the prestigious and demanding PMP project management certification, or the CAPM certification as a first step,
• aim to publish one of these two renowned certifications awarded by the PMI (Project Management Institute; pmi.org) association on their professional profile.

In addition to saving time (and resources) to pass the exam, our PMP or CAPM students benefit from four other advantages:

Advantage (1): this training, in the form of coaching or accompaniment, puts students in a position to master theory (i.e. the theoretical knowledge required for the exams) through practical experience:

• either practical examples of students' own projects
• or examples that illustrate the practical application of theory that the teacher has experienced and brings to the course.

Focused on French-speaking Switzerland, straddling Geneva, Lausanne (Vaud) and the cantons of Fribourg and Neuchâtel, these concrete examples have a positive impact on learning efficiency. The examples are drawn from projects in a variety of fields (events, new product launches, start-ups, construction, process and management control, industrial, etc.), well beyond purely IT projects, which are good examples qualified as projects according to PMI methodology; but not the only ones. 😉

Advantage (2): these preparation courses are spaced out over several weeks, giving students time, thanks to the coaching that is gradually distilled into them and the time between courses, to prepare themselves more solidly to present their personal file for admission to the exam (PMP) and to pass the exam (PMP and CAPM). The "cramming" that goes on before the PMP or CAPM exam is a thing of the past; the exam now judges the mastery by project managers (established or aspiring) of the various project management methods proven in different industries.
